Use this CDM checklist to help designers evaluate hazards and plan safer construction. It guides pre construction decisions including understanding the location, checking asbestos and past land use, assessing ground and structural capacity, and confirming access and dimensions. Review materials for fire and load bearing risks, identify practical flame use, moving parts and entrapment, water hazards, rostra and risers, and utility considerations. Document findings with photos and notes, capture controls and people at risk, record recommendations, and complete designer sign off. This template is a starting point and does not replace professional advice.
