Production Weld Quality Checklist

Use this production weld checklist to audit pipeline welding activities. Verify welder certifications, correct WPS selection for pipe grade and wall thickness, materials on hand (6010/7010/8010/7018), and required tools. Capture JHA and hot work completion, pre-heat temperatures, bevel preparation, and conformance to PG&E standards. Record visual acceptance criteria for undercut, high spots, cold lap, pinholes, and weld profile. Note inspectors present, stencil IDs, and drawing conformance to ensure quality and safety.
