It covers site office readiness, required documentation and displays including F10, Health and Safety Law poster, accident book, and first aid. Welfare checks include clean canteen and toilets, hot and cold water, soap, paper towels, and drinking water. Paperwork controls include inductions with CSCS verification, sign-in records, insurance certificates, RAMS availability and sign-off, hazardous substances storage with safety data sheets, briefings for non-English speakers, and permits such as electrical isolation. Site controls include hoarding integrity, safe access and egress, correct signage, fire points, clear emergency routes, housekeeping, and PPE. Working at height controls verify MEWP suitability and condition, operator tickets, harness use, step ladder permits and tags, and equipment isolation.
