Use this building site inspection checklist to support local government asset compliance. Verify builders’ emergency contacts and site signage, secure fencing, refuse facilities with lids, sanitary facilities, stormwater sediment controls, and presence of an Asset and Amenity Protection Permit. Check for breaches of Community Amenity Local Law (e.g., Clauses 69, 71, 73, 74, 75, 76) and Section 63 of the Road Management Act 2004. Review council records for Vehicle Crossing or Road Opening permits, determine if urgent action (Clause 82) or a Notice to Comply (Clause 81) is required, and log actions, contacts, photos, and comments.
