This ASHP technical survey checklist helps installers and surveyors assess a site before fitting an air source heat pump. Capture photos of the service loop, electric meter, and earthing; record supply type, maximum demand and capacity (Amps/kVA), and phase. Verify fuse board compliance and existing fuel, heating emitters, and DHW supply, noting any other renewables on-site. Plan the new installation by selecting proposed heat emitters and preferred ASHP make and model, and confirm locations for the unit and cylinder. Determine the need for auxiliary heating and metering, and check for any Building Regulations implications or customer preferences. Attach floorplans and parts lists to complete the technical survey.
