Use this Site Specific Safety Plan (SSSP) Contractor Review checklist to assess the adequacy of contractor safety documentation before work begins. Confirm project scope and contacts, identify high-risk and notifiable works, and verify risk registers, controls, and required permits. Check emergency response planning, hazardous substances registers and SDS, and minimum PPE. Review induction, training and competency records, supervision of untrained workers, and environmental controls for noise, dust, fumes, and smoke.
