Daily Briefing Record Template for Construction
by Tony Church, from the Community
Use this construction daily briefing record to plan the day’s work and confirm site readiness before activities begin. The template covers work type, planned tasks, primary hazards, required controls, permits to work, PPE, supervision, skills and training checks, and impacts on nearby teams. It guides supervisors to review RAMS, isolation, signage, scaffolds, plant certifications, and emergency considerations. Capture workforce feedback and obtain names, signatures, date, time, and supervisor sign-off. If conditions are unsafe, stop work and escalate to a manager or supervisor.
