Use this arboriculture works risk assessment checklist to plan and document safe tree work on highways, parks, cemeteries, and other sites. Verify site setup and warning signage, welfare facilities, and vehicle readiness. Check PPE including hi-vis, helmets, boots, visor, and hearing protection. Inspect equipment such as chippers, chainsaws, stump grinders, MEWPs, cranes, and climbing gear with LOLER markings. Record photos, note hazards, and confirm controls are task specific and fit for purpose.
