Use this SPC checklist to conduct rail worksite safety inspections and confirm compliance with Rule Book 10, 14, 16, and 18. Capture Sentinel numbers, certifications, and mentor details; verify PWT bookings, access and sign-in procedures, and planning of protection and safe track access. Review method statements, risk assessments, SSI/F3333 and the SPC pack, complete workgroup briefings, and organize compliance paperwork. Monitor high-risk activities including work at height, CAT scans, and MEWP use; identify hazards with point-of-work risk assessments. Close out with site-clear checks, sign-out, and documentation, noting observations and recommendations.
