Weekly Shelving Safety and Cleanliness Checklist
by Simon Wood, from the Community
This weekly shelving checklist helps warehouse teams maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance across storage areas. Verify benches and logimats are free of non‑essential materials, floors are clear of totes and packaging, PDAs are accounted for, and debris is removed from under rollers. Ensure stairs by lifts are vacuumed, railings are dust‑free, and areas beyond railings are cleaned. Confirm engineers are aware of issues with logimats, rollers, and lifts. Check that safety signage remains visible and all fire exits are completely clear.
