This RICP container inspection template helps logistics teams document safe, compliant cargo inspections. Record site, date, inspector, location, container ID and type. Verify PPE such as harness, hi-vis, helmet, eyewear, gloves, and safety shoes. Assess the container’s exterior condition and confirm there’s no prior entry. On opening, check for pest presence at frame tape, within the commodity, at dragnets, and under floor tapes, capturing pest type and counts. Log the weight of each desiccant strip and summarize any infestation findings. Use this checklist to standardize inspections and support biosecurity and transport compliance.
