Ramp and Boarding Checklist for Airline Ops
by Arno van Dijk, from the Community
Use this ramp and boarding checklist to support safe, on-time airline departures. It covers ramp readiness checks such as VDGS, blocks and GPU status, cone placement, bridge or stairs condition, loading and servicing, fueling, catering, cleaning, equipment condition and positioning, and ensuring vehicles at the aircraft are shut down with brakes applied. It also includes TRC presence, pushback timing, cargo build quality, and de-icing readiness. For boarding, verify crew and gate agent reporting times, buggy collection, oversized hand baggage, special assistance presence (Axxicom), delivery of flight documents, automatic boarding start, passenger travel document compliance, and loadsheet delivery via ACARS or gate printer to meet OTP targets.
