Transport Workshop Safety and Environmental Inspection

Use this checklist to inspect transport and workshop areas for compliance with safety and environmental standards. Review documentation and communication, signage, first aid and welfare facilities, fire precautions and storage. Assess workplace transport management, site layout, traffic routes, coupling and uncoupling, loading and unloading, tipping, sheeting and work at height on vehicles. Verify vehicle maintenance, chemical storage, machinery guarding and statutory inspections. Evaluate noise and workplace health controls, PPE, incident management, environmental controls, housekeeping, electrical safety, offices and kitchens, smoking areas, car parks, site security and waste management. Capture actions, findings and assessor sign off.
