MIA Weekly Airside SWPPP Inspection Checklist

Use this airport operations checklist to perform weekly airside SWPPP inspections at MIA. Sections cover spill prevention and response, material loading and storage, equipment operations and maintenance, vehicle fueling and cleaning, vehicle storage and hazard removal, waste handling and disposal, erodible areas and construction impacts, roadway maintenance and cleaning practices, identification of non stormwater illicit discharges, dust generation and track out controls, and structural measures such as curbing, paving, drip pans, secondary containment, detention and retention ponds, oil water separators, and other controls. Inspect stormwater conveyances including trench drains, channels, culverts, basins, and drop inlets. Verify employee and tenant SWPPP training and signage, note any non compliance, and complete certification of inspection.
