GWRL Station Lighting Condition Assessment

Use this annual checklist to assess the condition of station lighting across the rail network. Inspect poles, fittings, and non pole mounted lights at stations on the Kapiti, Hutt, Wairarapa, Melling, and Johnsonville lines. Record pole types and condition ratings, note SAP equipment numbers, count and identify light fittings by model, capture photos, and document defects, risks, and maintenance actions. The template helps standardize inspections, improve safety and compliance, and prioritize renewals and repairs to keep platforms, car parks, and public areas well lit.
