Florida Region DSD Driver Methods Observation Form
by Justo Garcia, from the Community
This Florida Region DSD Driver Methods Observation Form helps trainers evaluate delivery drivers across the full shift. It covers pre-trip inspections, branch departure readiness, and safe driving practices using the SMITH System. On-route and in-store checkpoints include equipment use, load security, case handling, delivery timing, receiver coordination, and HHC activities for POD and settlement. Post-trip steps verify DVIR or Zonar completion, vehicle clean-up, paperwork, and communication with management. The form supports BBS observations, certification scoring, recap notes, and training plans when proficiency is not met.
