Detailed Barge Inspection Checklist

Use this comprehensive barge inspection checklist whenever a barge is picked up or dropped off outside the Terral fleet. Record boat and barge identifiers, document major issues, and capture photo evidence throughout. Verify cargo status and cleanliness, inspect fiberglass covers from bow to stern, and note any damage that could let rainwater into hoppers. Measure water levels in bow, stern, and intermediate voids (#1–#5), and indicate when pumping is required. Assess hull, deck, combing, and shell conditions on port, starboard, bow, and stern, with location-specific damage notes.
