This new supplier delivery risk assessment helps sales teams evaluate delivery sites before onboarding a supplier. Assess parking and unloading conditions, identify obstructions, slopes, and public exposure, and check access widths, steps, and stair condition. Review delivery into cellars, entrance widths, floor condition, lighting, hazards such as trailing pipes or equipment, and availability of manual handling aids. Note time or day restrictions, delivery distances, and any legal parking limits. Record recommended delivery vehicles and ensure empties can be removed safely. On completion, share findings with the EHS Manager, Warehouse Manager, and the new customer to support safe, compliant deliveries.
