BWI Quarantine Inspection Checklist - All-in-one
by Brian Y, from the Community
This all-in-one checklist supports quarantine inspections for freight and cargo when no specific checklist exists. It guides full and verification inspections of containers, flatracks, and goods, covering externals and internals including undersides, floors, sides, roofs, vents, seals, packaging, restraints, skids, and engines. It prompts checks for cleanliness and biosecurity risks such as soil, insects, nests, seeds, bark, and untreated timber. Chemical treatment sections include residual sprays, EF, SF, and MB fumigation, rodent bait placement and removal, and venting. It also captures contractor details, materials references, supporting documents, cooperation and site rating, and a release certificate with sign-off by a quarantine representative.
