Maintenance and Servicing Shed Safety Checklist

Use this maintenance and servicing shed checklist to audit walkways, access routes, platforms and pit areas, signage and markings, housekeeping and waste, facilities and lighting, and fire safety. Verify first aid provisions, alarms, emergency lighting, evacuation drills, extinguishers and hydrants. Inspect lifting gear, ladders, staging, pressure vessels with defined inspection intervals, PAT testing, machine guarding and isolation. Check PPE use, depot protection, security, storage of materials and hazardous substances, spill kits and pollution prevention. Include energy and environment checks such as leak prevention, efficient heating, door management, and switching off lights and taps.
