This AFI 91-203 aligned checklist helps teams audit safe battery maintenance, handling and storage across vehicles, aircraft support equipment and battery rooms. It covers required PPE, de-energizing and isolating circuits, safe charger use, ventilation for lead-acid and NiCad rooms, proper lifting methods, jump-starting rules, handling broken cases and electrolyte, and aircraft-specific TO guidance.
