IGA NW and MV Liquor and Tobacco Compliance Audit
by Gin Shillito, from the Community
This audit template supports IGA Northway and Midvale to meet state requirements for liquor and tobacco retail. It guides teams to confirm the Liquor License is displayed, maintain the Liquor House Rules folder, and keep the Responsible Service of Alcohol register current. It checks that staff over 18 hold valid RSA certification and refreshers, and that mandatory signage is in place, including Liquor Licensing Law posters, Under 18 No supply, Do not attempt to buy liquor for under 18s, DirectLine, and Barring powers. It also covers tobacco unit signage, graphic health warnings near the price board, and Quitline health warnings. The checklist requires photo evidence, records corrective actions, and includes Store Manager sign off. Use it monthly to document compliance and order replacement signage when needed.
