Use this mining environmental contact inspection to assess in pit shovel pads and washdown facilities. Verify bunding capacity and condition, compliance with AS1940 and site licence requirements, presence and serviceability of fire extinguishers, availability of spill response kits and rag bins, SDS access, correct waste segregation, and overall housekeeping. Check washdown bay grading to sumps and sump capacity for runoff. Record findings, raise actions, and capture sign offs from area and environmental representatives.
