SRM Rescue Wednesday Night Shift Duties Checklist
by Mitch Burgess, from the Community
This checklist supports SRM Rescue teams on Wednesday night shift. It covers cleaning and refuelling Rescue 1, Rescue 3, Rescue 4 and the MSS 26 ambulance, plus housekeeping such as wiping benches, mopping floors and emptying bins. Crews verify key equipment including the reciprocating saw, batteries and blades, thermal imaging camera, Dolphin torches and traffic wands. Teams complete a security patrol, recording start and finish times and checks at Peak Downs boundary gate, Ramp 4 fuel farm, Lake Vermont TAMs gates 1 and 2, Ramp 13 fuel farm, wide load gate, one mile dam gate, airstrip gate and the site car parks. Site access centre tasks include entering visitors for the next day in TAMs, adding work area familiarisation to visitor cards, checking profiles and adding manual drug and alcohol tests where required. The template ends with a signature step and supports safe, consistent night shift operations.
