SAWS Inside Inspection Checklist for Pumps and Wells
by Edgar Valle-Torres, from the Community
Standardize SAWS inside inspections across pump rooms, MCC rooms, wells, reservoirs, tailings and process water assets. Capture start times, equipment status, room cleanliness, lighting, heater status and leak checks. Record key operating data including discharge flow and pressure, total flow, depth to water, sump levels, tank levels, chlorine bottle weight and pH. Verify pumps running and log discharge pressures per pump. Cover specific locations such as Bingham booster, Copperton chlorinator, culinary wells, tail water reservoir, truck shop and waste water pump station. Finish with a sign off to confirm the entire inspection.
