This Emergency Response Playbook provides quick reference guidance for the Pleasant Gap plant and mine. It outlines immediate actions for fire, medical emergencies, active shooter, natural gas line issues, entrapment, engulfment or drowning, transportation incidents, chemical spills or releases, fall arrest and high-angle rescue, bomb threats, and severe weather including earthquakes, tornadoes, floods, and high winds. Role-specific checklists cover Kiln Operator and Helper, Loader and Bagging Operators, Electricians, Maintenance, and other site personnel. The guide details evacuation procedures, headcount at the clock house, securing site access, coordinating with emergency responders, creating marker trails for responders, and directing media to local authorities.
