Inspection and Install Report for AFEX Systems
by Scott Schoen, from the Community
This template documents the installation and inspection of AFEX fire suppression systems on heavy machinery. It captures machine and customer details, AFEX system specifications, detection type, and all actuation components with serial numbers and weights for nitrogen cartridges. It records routing and testing of actuation lines, pressure testing, and verification of valves, safety pins, and seals. The distribution sections cover 60 lb dry chemical and 5 gal liquid agent tanks, hose and tubing routes, nozzle placement with photos and target descriptions, and mounting checks. A summary logs installation completion, hours, technicians, and includes customer acknowledgment of operation, maintenance, inspection, and recharge services.
