GRM FRCV Rail Corridor Access Checklist
by Samantha Fellows, from the Community
This Fatal Risk Control Verification checklist supports safe rail corridor access at GRM. It covers the risk scope for interactions between trains, vehicles, equipment, personnel, and infrastructure at designated and non-designated level crossings. The checklist verifies compliance with the GRM Safety at Rail Level Crossings Standard, quarterly inspections and record keeping, signage and emergency contact details, and Aurizon responsibilities for design, maintenance, and audits. It also includes requirements for train load out facilities, SARC training, and contacting QR for block or full isolation when operating in or near the danger zone. Use it to confirm procedures are followed, registers are current, records are stored correctly, and crossings are clearly marked.
