Drill Pattern Clean-up Audit Checklist
by Stephen Mansfield, from the Community
Use this drill pattern clean-up audit to standardize pre-drilling readiness checks at mine sites. Verify survey boundary pegs, D&B engineer inspections, and handover to the Drill Supervisor. Confirm heavy vehicle segregation, pushed edges and windrows, leveled working areas with drainage, clear delineation with cones and signs, access for trailing cables, full-perimeter clean-up, and survey readiness. Capture sign-offs to document compliance and improve drill and blast safety.
