Downloads: 0

Perform this daily rig inspection during routine rig visits to the drill. Verify site induction and pre-shifts, note footage and any down hole issues, and log equipment downtime. Check slip, trip, and fall hazards and overall housekeeping. Confirm wheel chocks are in place. Ensure discharge is contained with secondary containment as needed. Verify PPE compliance including reflective wear, hard hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses, cut resistant gloves, and respirators per SDS. Inspect guarding on all rotating equipment and check fire extinguishers at the rig and laydown area. Confirm barricades and signage for sumps, rotating rods, and exclusion zones. Inspect hydraulic systems for leaks; verify whip checks and shackles where required. Assess mud tank access and guarding.
