The Carey Take Time Talk checklist helps teams pause before work, capture positive observations, identify gaps or opportunities for improvement, and take immediate actions. Record date and time, work area location, and details of any at risk behaviors or conditions, including PPE, eyes and face, head, hands and arms, feet and legs, respiratory, body use, striking against, caught between, struck by, eyes on task or path, potential to fall, housekeeping, storage, lighting, weather, dust or fumes, barricading, lifting and twisting, posture, risk assessment adherence, and tool or equipment use. Note if work was stopped, whether coaching occurred, who coached, and capture a signature to complete the talk.
