by Apollo Lee, from the Community
Ensure safe conveyor belt movement in mines with this checklist. Verify isolations and permits to work, manage working at heights risks, complete belt pull calculations, and confirm rigging and restraint ratings. Check scrapers, ploughs, proxies, skirts, and brakes; secure winches, winders, and counterweights; assign and brief spotters; barricade the area; and inform other work groups. Obtain Exclusive Control Officer and supervisor approvals before proceeding.
