This Workshop Inspection checklist helps teams review general housekeeping and critical safety controls in workshops. Assess waste management, unobstructed access ways, adequate lighting, and protection from sharp objects. Verify fire extinguishers, equipment guarding, and correct storage of tools, materials, gas bottles, and chemicals. Check electrical safety including RCDs, VRDs on welders, and current test tags. Confirm correct PPE use, welding screens and spark containment, spill kit availability and awareness, segregation of people and plant, and the presence of MSDS for hazardous substances. Ensure emergency and evacuation procedures are in place and understood. Record issues and assign corrective actions to drive compliance and continuous improvement.
