Technical Audit Checklist for Garment Manufacturing
by Shahadat Hossain Bayzid, from the Community
This Technical Audit Checklist helps assess garment manufacturing operations across quality management, planning, resources, and production. It covers factory information, quality manuals, document control, management reviews, and production planning. Resources span people, machines, and materials, including calibration, maintenance, FIFO, inspections, and testing. Manufacturing sections address cutting, printing/embroidery, fusing, sewing, and finishing with SOPs, work instructions, traceability, and defect control. Product safety and integrity include button, label, needle, and metal control, mold and pest control, and chemical management. Internal audits, corrective and preventive actions, supplier evaluation, and end-to-end traceability support continuous improvement.
