This 6S audit checklist supports continuous improvement on the shop floor by guiding reviews of Sort, Set, Shine, Safety, Standardize, and Sustain practices. Inspect workstation organization, proper tool and supply storage, staging areas, pallet jacks and banding carts, cabinets and shelving, and empty pallet handling. Confirm trash and scrap are managed, floors are swept and clear of labels and debris, and column protectors are clean. Check cords are dressed and undamaged, the 6S board is signed, ladders are stored correctly, and aisles are unobstructed. Verify end-of-shift shutdowns for machinery, computers, printers, lights, fans, and personal belongings.
