The Quick Risk Prediction (QRP) checklist helps teams evaluate non-routine tasks before work begins. It guides users to describe the job and area, list involved employees, identify hazards such as struck-by, caught-in, pinch points, hot or cold surfaces, high pressure, chemical exposure, spills, slips, trips and falls, electrical shock, poor body positioning, fire or explosion, unexpected moving parts, and ventilation issues. The checklist prompts selection of preventative measures and required PPE, defines how the task will be performed or monitored, captures supervisor sign-off, and encourages documenting new safe practices or SOPs and sharing them near relevant equipment.
