This PUWER assessment template helps organizations evaluate the safety and compliance of work equipment under the UK Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations. It guides assessors through suitability of use, maintenance and inspection routines, user competency and training, and verification of CE marking and documentation. Sections cover guarding of dangerous parts, controls for start/stop and emergency stop, protection against specific hazards such as ejection, fire, noise and vibration, and management of hot or cold surfaces.
