Dortec Newmarket JHSC Monthly Safety Inspection

This Joint Health and Safety Committee monthly inspection checklist is designed for Dortec’s manufacturing facilities. It guides worker and management members through plant areas including production and assembly lines, maintenance and EI shops, warehouse, restrooms, first aid room, central stores, and outdoor yards. Checks cover housekeeping, lighting, air quality, recycling, spill control, flammable storage, emergency exits and signage, fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, evacuation maps, and spill kits. It verifies PPE compliance, lockout/tagout, ergonomics, machine guarding, conveyors, robot and laser cell safety, electrical panel access and arc flash labeling, racking and sprinkler clearance, forklift licensing and vehicle checks, and safe use of ladders and welding cylinders.
