Hazardous Waste Accumulation Area Weekly Inspection

This weekly inspection checklist helps facilities review hazardous waste accumulation areas for compliance and safety. Verify containers are labeled and dated, flammable wastes are grounded and stored correctly, lids are closed, and contents are compatible. Check for container deterioration, debris free spacing, leaks or spills, adequate spill response equipment, and proper secondary containment. Confirm eyewash access, required signage and fire extinguisher placement, storage within designated areas, generator status limits, and functioning communication or warning devices. Record corrective actions and assignees.
