Fundamental Inspection Report for Finished Goods
by Richard Brookes, from the Community
Use this comprehensive AQL 2.5 inspection report template to evaluate finished goods before shipment. Capture order and vendor details, quantities, carton counts, and item documentation. Inspect packaging and cartons for damage, sealing, labeling, and accuracy against packing lists. Review presentation standards, pressing quality, folding, and cleanliness. Verify labeling components including care labels, swing tickets, size and brand labels, and security tags. Check for metal contamination and assess fabric, print, and finishing defects. Evaluate wash shade and styling elements, interlining and fusing quality, and overall construction including seams, hems, stitching, pockets, zips, and trims. Record measurements against tolerances, classify defects as critical, major, or minor, attach photos, and deliver an overall audit result.
