Emergency Shower and Eyewash Units Checklist

This checklist helps supervisors inspect emergency showers and eyewash units for AFI 91-203 compliance. It covers placement within 10 seconds of hazards, separation from electrical circuits, potable water supply, comfortable water temperature, freeze and heat protection, clear signage and lighting, hands-free valve activation, weekly activation tests, monthly inspections, eyewash bottle maintenance, training, alarms, and safeguards when units are inoperable.
