Cigarette Manufacturing Safety Inspection Checklist
by MC Safety ADMIN, from the Community
Use this monthly planned safety inspection checklist to assess cigarette manufacturing facilities. Verify correct PPE use and signage; confirm machine safety and guarding, E‑stop awareness, and safe air hose use. Review building safety including eyewash access, illuminated exits, evacuation routes, and emergency lighting. Check walking-working surfaces, stairs, ladders, and guardrails. Confirm fire protection measures, extinguisher access, and no‑smoking controls. Evaluate material handling and lifting equipment, truck and trailer securing, and hoist controls. Inspect electrical safe work practices, panel clearances, cords, and labeling. Ensure hazard communication, SDS access, and proper chemical storage. Validate lockout tagout, hot work permits, housekeeping standards, and documentation with auditor and supervisor sign‑off.
