by Nick Martin, from the Community
This Chrysler Upstairs 5S Audit (Form 5076A) template helps teams assess workplace organization and safety on the 2nd Floor East. It guides auditors through key 5S checks across Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain. Verify clear exit routes; adherence to min/max inventory limits for supplies, components, WIP, FG, and packaging; removal of unused tools and parts; and cleanliness beneath stairs and conveyors. Inspect shadowboards, coat racks, racks/bins/cabinets, computers and wiring, fans, waste segregation bins, lighting, and electrical panel clearances. Review floors, light fixtures, painted surfaces, walls and columns, and mutilation protection. Confirm MAFACT signage for cells and stations, homes for movable items via shadowboxing, defined inventory levels, Sequence Centre lane signage, and accuracy of labels, Kanban tags, and sequence labels. Include checks for common areas and the Red Tag area, concluding with auditor signature.
