Use this BA 2711 checklist to inspect MSA self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA). Walk through face piece, harness and back frame, cylinder integrity and charge, hoses and fittings, negative-pressure seal, regulator shutoff, speaker, HUD indicators, and control module checks. Test PASS activation and reset, confirm gauge alignment within 200 psi, and verify low-pressure alarms near 1575 psi. Include RIT pack and list any non-operational SCBAs to ensure equipment is safe and ready for deployment.
