Use this checklist to perform preventive maintenance on reciprocating air compressors. It covers general inspection (inlet filter condition and change dates, discharge pressure, pump discharge air temperature, ambient/intake temps, oil level, leaks, vibration, belts and guards, safety valves, regulators, intercooler/aftercooler cleaning), dryer and condensate drains, line filters, oil/water separators, and cleanliness. Electrical checks include voltage/amperage, voltage drop, total package amps, contactors, connections, and duty cycle.
