Air Compressor Maintenance for Reciprocating Units

Use this checklist to perform preventive maintenance on reciprocating air compressors. It covers general inspection (inlet filter condition and change dates, discharge pressure, pump discharge air temperature, ambient/intake temps, oil level, leaks, vibration, belts and guards, safety valves, regulators, intercooler/aftercooler cleaning), dryer and condensate drains, line filters, oil/water separators, and cleanliness. Electrical checks include voltage/amperage, voltage drop, total package amps, contactors, connections, and duty cycle. Track findings, add comments, and sign off to keep equipment efficient and safe.
