TreeCreeper Avi Operational Inspection Checklist
by Chris Ellison, from the Community
This operational inspection checklist supports TreeCreeper Aviemore adventure course operations. It guides competent personnel through routine checks of safety systems and structures, including fortress sections (brackets, grub screws, platforms, walls, stairs, gates), Postman’s Walk to Mini Zip, Mossie Net, Indie Bridge, Hanging Islands, Barrel to Burma Bridge, Organ Pipes, and Balance Beam. Inspect brackets, packers, ratchet straps, cable ties, wire runs, footwire and handrope attachments, platform supports and tops, staples, chains, shackles, swaging, pulleys, seat retraction, ASAP rope, net attachment points, vine connections, combi ropes, spreader logs, and hardware integrity. Record cable breaks where applicable and confirm the course is fit for purpose. Aligned to EN1557 part 2 guidance for operational inspections at least every three months.
