Use this location audit foundation checklist to assess valet and front-of-house parking operations across hotel locations. Evaluate first impression and guest service, valet conduct and uniforms, driveway cleanliness, and placement of cones, podium, and signage. Verify podium setup and compliance, including supplies, locks, pre-shift and event sheets, garage audits, hot car logs, location binder, IT logs, training station, and lost ticket forms. Check key and ticket control, live key audits, hot car tags, damage checks, and ticket logs. Inspect garage safety (locked vehicles, straight tires, safe parking, marked hot spots). Review financial controls such as card machine status, rate postings, comps access, overnight reconciliations, and hot car log completeness. Capture notes on staffing levels, supplies, observed staff performance, client feedback, and employee input to identify improvements and revenue opportunities.
