This pre-opening inspection checklist is designed for the Big Kahuna water attraction to help teams verify operational readiness and guest safety before opening. It covers general safety, pool safety, and attraction safety items including clean and clear water, visible drains, intact barriers and fencing, secure handrails and ladders, functional communication and emergency stop procedures, and debris free decks and runouts. It prompts slide walks and slide tests by management and lifeguards, logging of pass or fail results, and escalation of any NO findings to supervisors.
