This annual safety checklist helps retail and cafe teams assess store readiness and reduce risk. It covers emergency exits, lighting and egress, slip and trip hazards, floor mats and spill response, manual handling and lifting, burn prevention at warming and oven stations, cutting and approved safety cutters, electrical safety and emergency shutoff, biohazard handling and sharps response, struck-by hazards in cafe and retail zones, incident response and reporting, and first aid readiness.
