This Valley Well Head safety evaluation checklist helps field teams assess hazards and maintain compliance at oil and gas well sites. Capture job details, run a Job Safety Analysis, and verify required permits (work, hot work, electrical, confined space). Document Short Service Employees and mentors, conduct meet-and-greet briefings, and review the Emergency Action Plan. Check PPE (head, eye/face, hearing, respiratory, hand, foot, clothing), fire protection, first aid, eyewash, and heat illness controls. Validate NFPA 70E electrical practices, lockout/tagout, confined space procedures, housekeeping, HazCom and SDS access. Evaluate heavy equipment operations, trenching and excavation, rigging, hand and power tools, storage, vehicles, and trailers. Record notes, risks, and corrective actions to keep wellsite operations safe and compliant.
